Stargazer Bohemian Bamboo Scarf with Falling Stars
Stargazer Bohemian Bamboo Scarf with Falling Stars
Due to overwhelming demand, we've brought back our beloved Stargazer print, this time in a bestselling scarf! We are full of wonder and made of stardust. And so is this marvellous piece! Created using an 1833 engraving by artist Vollmy, our Stargazer print features a night sky filled with thousands of shooting stars. (Vollmy’s work depicts the earliest recorded Leonid Meteor shower, in which more than 240,000 meteors fell from the sky in one night to the amazement and astonishment of onlookers in towns and villages across North America. We like to think that 240,000 wishes were made that night too ;) The scarf trim reads "When it's dark, look for stars" -- which makes this piece a beautifully encouraging gift.
The size and weight has been modelled after Market of Star's favourite vintage French scarves to create chic, easy to wear designs for every day use.
Wear them wrapped once around the neck, tucked in to a jacket, or tied in the hair. Crafted from soft viscose, the fabric is a lighter, airier weight than our kimonos, with a beautifully soft feel.
They make the perfect gift too! Pure bamboo / wood viscose.
Care: Handwash, hang to dry.
Size: 68cm x 155cm, 26.5 x 61"
